Guidelines for the Third International
Paper-cutting Festival

Place: Datong City and Guangling County in Shanxi Province, in
China
Activities:
1) opening ceremony
2) paper-cutting art exhibit
3) paper-cutting art live show
4) paper-cutting art forum
5) a ceremony for the publishing of Selected Works of Distinguished
Paper-cutting arts
6) a party of fork songs and dancing
7) a visit to some artists’ home in Jiaoshan Town in Guangling
County
8) a visit to some famous tourist destinies, such as Yungan Grottos
and Xuankong Temple
9) a declaration for paper-cutting protection and development
10) a prize-giving ceremony
If you are interested in the exhibit, please
fill the register form and send one of your arts (no larger than
50 by 75 centimeter, no frame) to the Paper-cutting Arts Collection
Office before June, 10th, 2007 and we will exhibit the most distinguished
300 artworks. However, after the exhibit, we will store them in
the Guangling Museum, Not return. (We will give you a certification
for that.) For all the invited distinguished guests, we will provide
free meals and lodging during the festival, but not communication
expense.
